Such was the 2014 Summer Ballet Course
21 July – 2 August
During two weeks, 6 day a week high level teachers from Russia, Ukraine, Spain and Hungary will share their knowledge and experience with dancers.
Our teachers:
Ivan Putrov
He was born in Kyiv, Ukraine to a ballet family. Ivan trained at The Kyiv State Choreographic Institute and at The Royal Ballet School. Upon graduation Sir Anthony Dowell invited him to join the Company, where he became a Principal after three seasons. He has worked with Mario Testino, Johnnie Shand-Kidd, Philip Haas, Nick Knight, Gary Hume, Sam Taylor-Wood and Pet Shop Boys on photographic, film and other creative projects.
Alexander Zhembrovskyy
Professional activities: Ballet dancer, ballet teacher, ballet fitness trainer, Founder & owner of Zhembrovskyy Ballet & Dance School, dance manager, assistant choreographer. Education: 1992-2000 Kiev National Ballet School, 2001-2004 Kiev National University of Art and Culture, Professional history. Teaching: since 2012 Zhembrovskyy Ballet and Dance School, since 2013 Jazz department of The Dutch National Theater School, since 2013 Assistant choreographer of Hans van Manen.
Irina Pisareva
Professor of classical dance. Director of the choreographic schools of Donetsk. 18 years of teaching experience. Chairman and member of the jury of the international, national and regional dance competitions.
Anna Generalova
She was born in Krasnodar. In 1997 she graduated from the St. Petersburg State Academy of Culture in teacher-choreographer. Some of her students studying now in the leading ballet schools in the world, the Royal Ballet School, Ballet School Nashenel English, the San Francisco Ballet School, Real conservatorio Profesional de Danza Mariemma Madrid, Moscow State Academy of choreography.
Victoria Szabo
2010 Victory Pilates Studio, creation, management. STOTTPILATES® and groupper sonal training. 2000-2012 Hungarian State Opera, Ballet dancer. 2006-2010 Balance Pilates Studio, Pilates instructor. 2004-2010 STOTTPILATES® instructor training. Zoltan Feicht
Began his carrier as a ballet artist. In 1998 he joined the Hungarian National Ballet for six years. His attention turned toward contemporary dance, and now he is working with Pal Frenak’s company. The main element of his classes is to learn the different dynamics of movements. Beside the dance technic he is giving attention to the state of mind. The dance is a source of joy, and to share – that is the goal.
Ballet summer course include:
Classical ballet, pointe work, variation, virtuosity, character dance, modern (contemporary), pilstes and stretching.
First time on the ballet summer courses in Europe you can learn character dance.
Character dance teaching in the all Russian ballet academies, because it is an integral part of classical ballet.
Character dance is integral to much of classical ballet repertoire. It is the stylized representation of a traditional folk or national dance. Ballets such Swan Lake and Don Quixote feature character dance. Character dance classes develops the rhythmics, coordination and the individuality of the dancer.
The I international ballet summer intensive course welcome young students from 12 years old and up to professional dancers from all over the world. All participants will be shared in different levels.
